It has long been the intention and in fact
the policy of this web site to report on all matters relating to the
Krays.
So when I was approached by psychic Ian
Lawman who claims he is in daily contact with Ron and Reg Kray I had
no hesitation about relating his story.
With matters of this nature, it is very
hard not to offend some people. Or their intelligenmce.
Life after death has never been proven.
Or has it?...Some would disagree.
I would not dismiss life after death, out
of hand. It would be nice to believe there is a 'hereafter'.
But can you imagine how it would change
society if there was?
It would make life meaningless!...Anyway
that's another story.
I must add that this is not an endorsement
for Ian nor is it a confirmation or verification of any of the content
of the following article that appeared in the Scunthorpe Telegraph.
As always with the web site it is up to
the readers to make up their own minds.
I will be speaking personally with Ian
next week and will keep the web site informed of any developments.
STILL 'GUVNORS' - BEYOND GRAVE?
An article fromThe Scunthorpe Telegraph-
06 March 2002
IMAGINE being told you are sitting next
to Reggie Kray. I am in psychic Ian Lawman's living room in Burringham,
and he is revealing secrets to me about crimes allegedly committed by
the Kray twins.
Mention the Krays and the name will still
strike fear into the heart of law abiding citizens everywhere. Made
famous for their crimes in East London in the 'swinging sixties', the
twins now rest in peace. But for one North Lincolnshire man, Ronnie
and Reggie are very much part of everyday life despite them being dead
and buried. Telegraph reporter Sarah Wells spoke to Ian Lawman, a nationally
acclaimed psychic who claims he has been talking to the Krays for more
than a year.
Secrets, he claims, he has been told by
Ronnie and Reggie himself. I sit open-mouthed as the room goes cold,
I'm not sure whether it's because of the conversation, but there's a
distinct shiver down my spine.
Ian is explaining to me that Ronnie and
Reggie visit him all the time - day or night.
I tentatively ask him there's anyone with
us. Ian smiles; do I really want to know?
He tells me that Ronnie has been and gone,
but Reggie is sitting on the chair next to me, watching me write.
I tell him to tell Reggie I'll do a good
job!
Former model and professional dancer Ian
(32) gave up his job to be a full-time psychic investigator, ghost hunter
and clairvoyant. Ian said he first realised he had a gift when he had
an imaginary friend, Charlie the Clown, at the age of four. According
to Ian, Charlie was in fact a ghost.
Ian decided to work as a professional
psychic eight years ago and claims that Ronnie and Reggie Kray have
been meeting with him for more than a year.
Ian said: "Ronnie first visited me before
Reggie died.
"I remember the exact moment, I was sitting
downstairs in the living room watching television and the room went
drastically cold. I felt very uneasy as it had happened before, and
it usually means something quite evil is with me.
"Then Ronnie appeared straight in front
of me, I don't see ghosts as apparitions, I see them solidly like I
see ordinary people, Ronnie said that he needed me to get a message
to Reggie for him before he died - he told me to tell him to be quiet.
"Then just before Reggie died, Ronnie said
there was another body that people didn't know about.
" Ian said that after Reggie died, the
twins began to visit him on a weekly basis and just stood and stared
at him. Then one day he was sitting on his own downstairs and he felt
the sofa depress next to him, as if someone had sat down.
Ian turned to look, and he claims that
Reggie was sitting next to him. Ian said: "In a quiet slow voice Reggie
said 'hello Ian'."
He explained how Ronnie and Reggie are
now regular visitors and meet with him on a daily basis - day or night.
He said they have told him many stories
about their lives, stories which Ian is currently trying to verify with
Michael Gallagher, the man who is in charge of the Kray's website.
Ian said: "Michael campaigned for Reggie's
release before he died and is also in charge of the Kray's website."
"Obviously he has a lot of knowledge of the Krays and I have been talking
to him about some of my experiences."
Ian admitted that he did not have a lot
of interest in the Krays before they began visiting him and Michael's
input has been very valuable as he doesn't know a lot about the twins.
Michael said: "I have been listening to
what Ian has to say and I have an open mind about such things." As the
visits increased, Ian's interest grew: "I watched a video about the
Krays after they began visiting me and I recognised a lot of their mannerisms."
Ian said that the Krays mentioned that
there were five more bodies yet to be discovered and they kept talking
about someone known only as 'Ginge'.
He also claimed that Reggie said he wanted
his wife to take care of his estate following his death.
Ian said: "It is difficult to talk to
them as they both have strong accents, however, they do talk to me about
stabbings and burying people alive.
"Reggie is always playing with his hair.
Reggie also said that he stabbed someone in prison and they lived to
tell the tale.
"They both laugh at people who call them
names now as they say that they wouldn't have dared say it to their
faces when they were alive."
Ian also claims that the Krays have asked
for his help to 'finish off' George Cornell, a rival Ronnie shot dead
in The Blind Beggar, a pub in London.
He said: "They talked about Cornell and
asked me to finish him off.
"His ghost is still apparently haunting
the pub Ronnie shot him in and they want me to get rid of him.
"I am in negotiations to do that."
Although Ian clearly enjoys his work,
he said the pressure on him over the past two years has been tremendous.
"It has affected my life and up until last week I was seriously considering
jacking it all in.
The story of the Krays is a bizarre one
and I wasn't sure whether I wanted to tell anyone about it." Ian described
how Ronnie visited him while he was sleeping next to his wife Deborah.
"I was asleep and I felt someone tugging
at my leg, I woke up and Ronnie was standing next to my bed, he said
'in your office now'. "I said I didn't want to speak to him and thought
I was imagining things so I got up to go to the toilet. I walked into
the bathroom and then suddenly the door slammed shut, it woke my wife
up and I was so scared I wet myself.
"I ran back to bed and then an hour later
I woke up on my office floor feeling like I had been hit."
Ian said he asked Ronnie and Reggie what
they had done and they replied they had taken him there. News of Ian's
experiences has spread and he is now planning to meet with some of the
Kray's former associates in London next month.
Ian will be taking with him freelance
bodyguard Pete Moses from Burringham.
Mr Moses said: "I used to be a doorman
in Scunthorpe and now work as a freelance bodyguard.
"Ian has hired me to accompany him to London
as obviously he doesn't know what he'll be walking into." Ronnie and
Reggie Kray have long been legends for their crimes, some people agree
with that status, some do not, Ian added: "The Krays have told me they
enjoy their notoriety, they think it's great.
"They want people to know that they should
still be feared."
