This is a belated message to you Reg to offer sincere condolences of Charlie's passing. May he rest in peace. I am still in shock and revulsion that a UFF killer who mowed down 8 people in a pub is free in accordance with the Good Friday agreement! Is he rehabilitated or remorseful? I very much doubt it! Where's the justice???!!! Free Reg Now and show that some form of sanity exists in the world!

To my shame, it is only recently that I have read about the life of the Kray family. I am heart sorry that I have done nothing to help the campaign to free Reg. I have been sickened over the last few years to see terrorists, bombers and others released from prison, and find it hard to believe that even this government can be so hypocritical. My condolences to you, Reg, and be assured that you now have one more supporter writing to the Home Secretary. I hope that you get well soon and that the new Human Rights Act will work in your favour.

Hi Reg,I was saddened to hear about your loss and hope you are bearing up and I have only just heard about your tests, hope you are feeling better and that the home Office will soon come to its senses regarding your release, seeing as now they have released James McArdle, the man who bombed the London Docklands,I am only 26 so I was not born when you were imprisoned but I feel very strongly about it, I feel you are a decent and caring man who should be allowed to spend his life with his family, please note that although I am on the other side of the world if there is anything I can do for you do not hesitate to email me. good luck Sarah McNamara (Australia)

it's nice and comforting to see how much respect and regard is still being held for the family, i know alot of people don't understand it, but coming from the eastend, and living off Roman Road for so long, you see a different picture. I know what my grandparents and parents have told me, and i would just like to send my condolenses to Reggie and a message of hope that one day he can return and mourn his losses in private. One day Reggie, one day.

Isn't it amazing how people NEVER FORGET. Why, I woke up thinking about Reggie Kray this morning and the injustice of a man that's served his time and paid hit debt to society.... so why the hell should he still be locked up? It's time you were released Reggie! God sparing you have a lot more years in you and have driven well to keep your health for such a length of time. Time Jack Straw learned of the growing public support for your release and the injustice of a British system that he holds. Today I shall ensure that I write, e-mail and Fax him a further reminder of the support for your overdue release from prison. In the light of recent events when other not so long-term inmates have been released, it fails to make sense why someone that has done more time than anyone else would still remain behind bars. I shall remain active on your support and come back to this site often. I do hope that others who read these messages take action and also write to their MP's. For now take care and stay healthy, we're pressing hard for your release.

God bless you Reggie Kray. Back in the 60's when you were around the streets were a lot safer than todays. The only thing you ever see in the news these days is about how another poor young girl has been attacked by some rapist or how another old lady has been attacked and left seriously injured, all for a few pounds. Yeah you were a gangster but you kept to business and only ever hurt other gangsters, not innocent people. I can only hope that you are released soon as you have more than paid your debt to society. In fact society probably owes you by now. Rest in peace Ronnie and Charlie.
