Overview
IN
DEPTH
"They
were the best years of our lives. They called them the swinging Sixties.
The Beatles and the Rolling Stones were the rulers of pop music, Carnaby
Street ruled the fashion world ... and me and my brother ruled London. We
were fucking untouchable."
The
opening paragraph (above) from 'My Story' by Ron Kray sums up the
'Swinging Sixties' perfectly!
It would be great to
attribute such a description to the Colonel, Ron Kray, but he never said
them!
Reg assured me that it was
concocted by Fred Dinenage who wrote the book with Ron and was put in for
sensationalism.
The following section
contains the true stories associated with the Krays, their gang members
and their rivals!
